Senior Underwriter, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Deborah (Debbie) Eastwood is a Senior Underwriter with the Denver Homeownership Center/ Single Family Housing, a division of The Federal Housing Administration. She has been with FHA for nearly five years where she completes lender case reviews, internal quality reviews, assists lenders and underwriters with questions and program requirements, and performs internal and external trainings.
Prior to FHA Debbie was employed as a mortgage underwriter and has had her FHA Direct Endorsement designation since 2001. Most recently she worked for Citibank. (2007-2019).
Debbie currently resides in West Des Moines Iowa as a transplant from Illinois. She has one child “Meg” who resides Chicago, Illinois. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, flower gardening, volunteering, going to festivals and outdoor markets, and watching Hockey and women’s basketball.
