Ryan Wood serves as Senior Regulatory Counsel at Covius, a leading mortgage services provider. In this role, Ryan advises on regulatory issues related to mortgage default, government affairs, and legislative developments. He provides regulatory solutions and consulting for a variety of financial institutions, including top mortgage servicers. Ryan analyzes new bills and regulations to determine their potential impact; assists clients in implementing and complying with various state and federal laws relating to mortgage default; and reviews client notices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Ryan began his career practicing law in the state and federal courts of Colorado, focusing on consumer bankruptcy and real estate.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hillsdale College, a Master of Arts from St. John’s College, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Ryan is currently a licensed attorney in Colorado.
