Mortgage banking involves relatively sophisticated financial activities including the creation of
derivatives, hedging, and the intricacies of mortgage servicing. As a result, the accounting for these activities is relatively complex. In this one-hour webinar we will describe the valuation and accounting for:
1. Interest rate lock commitments
2. Forward mortgage loan sales commitments
3. Closed loans held for sale
4. Mortgage servicing rights
5. Credit Enhancement Fee Receivable & Obligation Liability

We will also address the regulatory capital and reporting requirements including those specifically
related to the MPF® program. Eligible for one hour of CPE.
