About Todd Carlson
As the mortgage relationship manager for Iowa, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming, Todd Carlson understands that team-based practices are important—especially while traversing the 469,000 square miles of his territory. Todd continually looks for ways to develop and sustain supportive professional relationships in the unique and complex world of mortgage products. He knows that listening to, and acting on, customer feedback goes a long way.
Originally from Humboldt, Iowa, Todd graduated from the University of Iowa and then began his career in secondary market sales in 1994. Todd transitioned to sales management in 1998 and joined FHLB Des Moines two years ago.
The group approach Todd follows at the Bank extends to his personal life, too. From cheering for his favorite team—the University of Iowa Hawkeyes—to snow skiing with friends to spending time with his young adult daughters, Todd knows connections are the foundation to success.
